Silent Valley Club at 46305 Poppet Flats Road, Banning, California.

My wife and I have been members since 2006. This is not your typical membership camping RV resort as you are actually owner/members, having a small leashold.They have recently offered short term leases, as short as 5 years.

The grounds are kept nicely, a mixture of maintained and semi- wild grounds. The location is very large with different sections. Family camping with swimming pools, restaurant, lounge and snack bar.

The spaces are large and are offered first come first serve. There are rental trailers available as well as group camping areas.

Boards of directors are voted in with the occasional really dumb policy changes (members can leave their rigs in place for a month, empty or not at this time. You see more than a few empty rigs in nice spaces because of this). This review would be 5 stars without that annoying feature.

The environment is very nice with Rangers patrolling so the loud obnoxious parties you find in public campgrounds are mostly non-existant.

I strongly recommend Silent Valley to anyone that enjoys rv'ing.
